Campaign Priority:
Create a School of Business and Leadership

Goal: $9,000,000

A state-of-the-art School of Business and Leadership is under construction on the Owings Mills campus.  This new academic center, scheduled to open in the fall of 2008, will house the University’s Business, Legal Studies, and Information Systems divisions.  The 60,000-square foot center will help Stevenson students more effectively meet evolving workforce needs throughout the state and across the nation.  In particular, the School will feature a more intimate and collaborative learning environment, including traditional and seminar-style classrooms, conference rooms, and areas for group study and conversation.

Hallmarks of the School of Business and Leadership:

  • Mock Trial Courtroom
  • Business and Law Library
  • Law Clinic
  • High-tech computer classrooms
  • Full-motion video technology for interactive distance learning
