Alumni Corporate Partnership Program

The Alumni Corporate Partnership Program was launched by Stevenson University, formerly Villa Julie College, in 2006.  A unique initiative, the goals of the program are to engage alumni where they work and strengthen corporate relationships with Stevenson University.

The University believes that a highly motivated and engaged alumni base will provide strength and resources to Stevenson University, as it seeks to become a national leader in career education. Because employers recognize the value-added education received by SU alumni, many companies in the Baltimore area employ significant number of SU alumni.

The Alumni Corporate Partnership program creates a way for alumni to stay involved with the University through affinity networks established with their employers. By identifying companies that wish to establish stronger ties to the University, the alumni office works with companies to identify an alumnus/na employee who will facilitate communication between the University and other alumni co-workers. Outreach events including tours and visits to the University with favorite faculty members, after-hours social gatherings, campus community service opportunities, and networking events are some of the many possibilities offered in this program.
 
The University recognizes that in today’s world, time is a valuable and scarce commodity. Through this program, Stevenson hopes to create a network of alumni corporate affinity groups within the community who grow increasingly involved with the University.

Employers recognize that camaraderie, loyalty, and pride in both their employees’ alma mater and place of work will increase morale and reduce turnover. They also benefit by supporting a motivational vehicle for members of their workforce.
