Standing Committees of the Alumni Association Board

Nominations and Awards Committee
Chaired by the Vice President of the Alumni Association Board, the Nominations Committee is charged with seeking and reviewing nominations for Board membership. In addition, this committee seeks and reviews nominations for the following Alumni Association awards: The Stevenson Distinguished Alumni Award, the Alumni Loyalty Award, and the Young Alumni Award. Nominate a Stevenson Alumnus/a for an award.

Events Committee
The Events Committee collaborates with the Alumni Relations and Annual Giving staff to coordinate and host multiple special events each year. These include the Golf Tournament, VillaFest Homecoming and Family Weekend, and other gatherings. The activities of the Events Committee include event support and staffing, recruitment calls, venue ideas, theme and logistics ideas, marketing, and overall support to ensure the success of these events.

Young Alumni and Student Programs Committee
The Young Alumni and Student Programs Committee develops plans and programs to attract and engage the most recent graduates of the University. In addition, the Committee identifies and develops programming and mentoring opportunities with current students, while fostering more alumni program awareness with the future graduates of Stevenson University.

Communications Committee
The Communications Committee advises the alumni staff on appropriate messages and communication vehicles for alumni contact. These may include the web site, Ventures magazine, annual fund letters, and event invitations and publicity.
